Selena Gomez debuted on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $1.3 billion, making her one of the youngest self-made female billionaires in the United States. The 32-year-old star of Only Murders in the Building achieved this milestone primarily through the success of her cosmetics company, Rare Beauty Brands Inc., as reported by Bloomberg on September 6.
Over 81 percent of Selena’s net worth comes from her ownership in the company, which she established in 2020. Despite earlier speculation about her potentially selling the brand, she confirmed her commitment to Rare Beauty during the 2024 TIME100 Summit on April 24.
“I don’t plan on going anywhere,” she stated. “I am truly enjoying this journey too much.”
Aside from the substantial earnings from Rare, Bloomberg also noted that nearly 7 percent of her net worth comes from professional endorsements, with almost 5 percent attributed to her past touring ventures, the most recent of which was in 2016 as the singer of “Come and Get It.”
