It was a night of celebration for these stars.
At the 2024 BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 30, some of the biggest names in music, movies, TV, and sports were recognized. Among the winners were Usher, who won Best Male R&B/Pop Artist, and Tyla, who took home Best International Artist and Best New Artist. (Check out all the stunning red carpet looks here.)
Before the ceremony, hosted by Taraji P. Henson, Drake led the nominations with seven nods, including Album of the Year, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year, and Best Male Hip Hop Artist. Nicki Minaj also received multiple nominations, including Album of the Year, Video of the Year, and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.
In addition to performances by GloRilla, Latto, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, and Victoria Monet, Usher was honored with the 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award for his 30 years of musical successes, in addition to his four nominations.
