Spot Taylor Swift and other celebrities at the After-Parties
Even though the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards have come to a close, the festivities are still going strong.
After the show is when the real party begins for most of the night’s nominees and winners, and there was plenty to celebrate.
With the distribution of all the Moon Person trophies, Taylor Swift emerged as the biggest winner of the evening, snagging victories in seven categories. It’s no surprise, as she led the nominations with 12.
Expanding her collection to 30 trophies, with seven more added to her 23 already won, the artist behind “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” now holds the record for the highest number of VMAs won by a solo artist. Beyoncé follows closely with 26 individual wins, adding up to 30 including collaborative wins with husband Jay Z and Destiny’s Child.
Other notable winners from the evening include Post Malone, who took home 5 awards for his work on Taylor’s “Fortnight.” Additionally, host Megan Thee Stallion tied with Eminem with two wins each. Megan won Best Art Direction for “BOA” and Best Trending Video for “Mamushi,” while Eminem received Best Hip-Hop and Best Visual Effects for “Houdini.”
