Witness Bill Skarsgård’s Terrifying Transformation in The Crow
Bill Skarsgård is making a chilling comeback with his latest role. Instead of the killer clown makeup from It, the 33-year-old is fully adorned in tattoos as he embodies the gothic anti-hero Eric Draven in the upcoming remake of The Crow. In photos released by Lionsgate on Feb. 28, Skarsgård’s body is covered in various designs, including a large eye on his chest, crosses on his abs, and letters above his right eyebrow.
Like in the original 1994 film featuring Brandon Lee, Skarsgård also sports heavy black eye makeup.
Additional images show the Castle Rock star sharing intimate moments with FKA twigs, who portrays his fiancée Shelly Webster.
Adapted from James O’Barr‘s graphic novel series, the new Crow movie follows a musician who comes back from the dead seeking vengeance against those responsible for his and his fiancée’s brutal murder. The remake is directed by Rupert Sanders, known for helming films like Snow White and the Huntsman with Kristen Stewart and Ghost in the Shell starring Scarlett Johansson.
