Sebastian Stan Rejects Label “Beast” in Discussion of Adam Pearson’s Condition
Sebastian shared more insights on his character and the overall film.
“He’s offering you a way to look at it, and hopefully, if you can maintain an objective point of view while watching the film,” he pointed out. “Then maybe you can analyze your initial instincts and realize they may not always be accurate.”
At another point in the conference, Adam also highlighted that he believed there wasn’t a single definitive interpretation of the film, praising director Aaron Schimberg.
“I think it would have been easy to make this film more promotional or preachy,” he remarked. “A good film can alter an audience’s thoughts for a day, but a great film can change how they think for the rest of their lives, and Aaron Schimberg is in the business of great films.”
