Sean “Diddy” Combs foresaw his arrest in chilling interview from 1999
Diddy Charged With Sex Trafficking & Racketeering
Following Combs’ arrest based on the sealed indictment, the indictment was revealed on Sept. 17.
The 54-year-old was accused of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion, as well as transportation for prostitution, as per court documents acquired by NBC News.
The indictment claimed that Combs exploited, threatened, and manipulated women and others in his circle to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and cover up his actions for over a decade, with prosecutors alleging that this behavior began in 2008.
According to the documents, “To accomplish this, Combs utilized the employees, resources, and influence of the diverse business empire that he oversaw and controlled—forming a criminal enterprise whose members and affiliates participated in, or tried to participate in, various crimes such as sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
As reported by NBC News, Combs entered a plea of not guilty and was refused bail.
“He’s determined to combat this with all of his strength and might,” his lawyer Marc Agnifilo stated to journalists outside the court prior to the arraignment, “and has complete trust in his legal team.”
