Sean “Diddy” Combs Relocates to Same Jail Block as Sam Bankman-Fried
Diddy Charged With Sex Trafficking & Racketeering
Following Combs’ arrest based on a sealed indictment, the indictment was revealed on September 17.
Court documents obtained by NBC News revealed that the 54-year-old was charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution.
The indictment alleged that Combs coerced, threatened, and abused women and others to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his actions over a period of more than ten years, starting around 2008.
The documents stated, “To accomplish this, Combs utilized the employees, resources, and influence of the diverse business empire he oversaw and controlled, forming a criminal enterprise whose members and associates committed or attempted to commit various crimes, including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
According to NBC News, Combs pleaded not guilty and was denied bail.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, assured reporters outside the courthouse before the arraignment that “He’s going to fight this with all of his energy and all of his might, and the full confidence of his lawyers.”
