Janice Combs Comes to Son Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Defense in Response to Sex Trafficking Allegations
Diddy Charged With Sex Trafficking & Racketeering
Following Combs’ arrest based on the sealed indictment, the indictment was revealed on September 17.
The 54-year-old was accused of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for prostitution, as per court documents obtained by NBC News.
The indictment claimed that Combs manipulated, threatened, and pressured women and others in his circle to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and hide his actions for more than ten years, with the alleged misconduct beginning around 2008.
According to the documents, “Combs used the employees, resources, and influence of his extensive business empire to create a criminal organization that engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
As reported by NBC News, Combs entered a plea of not guilty and was refused bail.
His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, declared outside the courtroom before the arraignment, “He will fight this vigorously and with the full support of his legal team.”
