Sean “Diddy” Combs Speaks Out After Federal Agents Conduct Raids on His Properties
Sean “Diddy” Combs is maintaining his innocence.
Following the raids on his properties in Miami and Los Angeles by federal agents on March 25, the rapper’s lawyer spoke out, accusing the government of initiating a “witch hunt” against Combs.
“There was an excessive use of military force during the execution of search warrants at Mr. Combs’ residences yesterday,” stated Aaron Dyer, his attorney, in a statement to E! News on March 26. “The authorities showed unnecessary force and hostility, mistreating his children and employees.”
The “Bad Boy for Life” artist was not detained at any point and fully cooperated with the authorities, his lawyer confirmed, clarifying that no family members have been arrested.
“This sudden attack, along with a well-coordinated media presence, is leading to a premature judgment of Mr. Combs based on unfounded accusations from civil lawsuits,” the lawyer claimed. “There is no evidence of criminal or civil wrongdoing in any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to defend his name every day.”
