Arrest Made in Alleged Drug Trafficking Scheme Involving Sean “Diddy” Combs
There are new developments in the investigation involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.
Reports indicate that on March 25, the same day federal agents raided two of the music mogul’s properties, a man named Brendan Paul, 25, was apprehended at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport for allegedly carrying cocaine and marijuana-infused candies. This information was obtained from a police report cited by NBC News. A source in law enforcement familiar with the situation confirmed that Paul is connected to Combs.
In a recent lawsuit against Diddy, Paul, a former member of the Syracuse University basketball team, is accused of being the person responsible for transporting drugs and guns for the artist.
According to records from court documents obtained by E! News, Paul has been released on bail and is facing charges related to the possession of cocaine and a controlled substance.
“We have no intention of discussing this case in the media,” stated his lawyer, Brian Bieber, to NBC News on March 27. “All matters will be addressed in court.”
A hearing is scheduled for April 24, as indicated in court records.
