Sean “Diddy” Combs Facing Allegations of 120 Additional Sexual Assault Incidents
Diddy Charged With Sex Trafficking & Racketeering
Following Combs’ arrest based on a sealed indictment, the indictment was unsealed on Sept. 17.
The 54-year-old faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, as well as transportation to engage in prostitution, as per court documents obtained by NBC News.
The indictment alleges that Combs manipulated, threatened, and coerced individuals to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his actions for over a decade, with prosecutors claiming the misconduct began around 2008.
“To accomplish this,” the documents stated, “Combs utilized the workforce, resources, and influence of the diverse business empire he headed and controlled—establishing a criminal organization whose members and associates participated in, and attempted to engage in, various crimes, including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”
Per NBC News, Combs pleaded not guilty and was refused bail.
“He will vigorously defend himself with all his energy and resources,” his lawyer Marc Agnifilo informed reporters outside the court before the arraignment, “with complete trust in his legal team.”
