Finn Wolfhard, Saturday Night Star, Envisions His Ideal SNL Performance: ‘I Imagine It Would Be Exciting To…’
Finn Wolfhard discusses his aspiration to grace the Saturday Night Live stage before appearing in the Saturday Night film. Speaking to People Magazine, the actor talked about his role and shared his dream debut on the comedy sketch show.
He mentioned that if given the opportunity, he would love to recreate the Underground Rock Festival sketch, known for its rapping skills.
During an interview, Wolfhard reminisced, “They were the hosts of this awful metal festival, and they would do themed commercials announcing the lineup.”
He added, “I recently watched it and found it hilarious because it’s essentially just a way to name a bunch of random bands. I think bringing back that sketch would be really funny.”
Additionally, he expressed his desire to have an Indie rock band or a 90s alt band as a guest during his performance. In the Saturday Night film, Wolfhard portrays the role of an NBC Page directed by Jason Reitman.
