Sanjay Kapoor praises daughter Shanaya’s intelligence, says she has witnessed his perseverance
Sanjay Kapoor, a veteran actor in the Hindi film industry with over three decades of experience, has recently been landing roles in various projects on OTT platforms. He was recently seen in Netflix’s Murder Mubarak.
In a recent interview with Indian Express, Sanjay Kapoor talked about his daughter Shanaya Kapoor and how she has learned valuable lessons from his own career.

Sanjay Kapoor praised his daughter, calling her “very intelligent” and acknowledging her hard work in understanding the ups and downs of his career. He emphasized the importance of focusing on one’s work and perseverance.
“Even during Covid, she was training and I didn’t have to tell her that,” Sanjay Kapoor added.
The actor also mentioned that he will always support Shanaya, guiding her towards the right vision and direction.
Shanaya Kapoor’s work front
Shanaya Kapoor is set to make her acting debut in Mohanlal’s pan-Indian film Vrushabha. She recently completed the first schedule of the movie in August 2023.
Before her acting debut, Shanaya worked as an assistant director on her sister Janhvi Kapoor’s film, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.

Aside from his recent roles, Sanjay Kapoor has appeared in supporting roles in films like Luck By Chance, Julie, Qayamat: City Under Threat, and Shaandaar. He also featured in Lust Stories and The Zoya Factor.
In 2021, he appeared in The Last Hour and later in The Fame Game. He was also part of Made in Heaven Season 2 and House of Lies.
