Sania Mirza Will Take Charge of Her Biopic if Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar Stars in the Film

Sania Mirza’s Reasons for Being in Her Biopic
Sania Mirza recently appeared on the OTT show The Great Indian Kapil Show alongside boxer Mary Kom, badminton player Saina Nehwal, and sharpshooter Sift Kaur. During their fun conversation, host Kapil Sharma mentioned that in an old interview, Shah Rukh Khan expressed a desire to play Sania’s love interest in her biopic.
Upon hearing this, the former Indian professional tennis player was surprised and jokingly said, “But before that, I need to have a love interest.” She also shared her excitement for Akshay Kumar and mentioned, “If Shah Rukh ji stars in the film, I might play myself. And I’ll definitely do it if Akshay Kumar is involved.”
During the chat, Kapil also noted that Priyanka Chopra portrayed Mary Kom in her biopic and her sister, actress Parineeti Chopra, was seen in Saina Nehwal’s biographical sports film.
He also asked Mirza whom she would like to see depict her in her biopic. Mirza added, “Are there any Chopra sisters left? No, I think we have many talented actors in our country. Anyone would be fine. Or maybe I should portray myself.”
