Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, Rust Armorer, Calls for Alec Baldwin to Be Jailed
Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is being summoned to testify in court. Alec Baldwin’s legal team has requested the armorer from the movie Rust, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for involuntary manslaughter in April, as a witness in Baldwin’s upcoming trial for the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
Before making the request, special prosecutor Kari T. Morrissey filed court documents citing recorded prison phone calls where Gutierrez-Reed expressed a desire to see Baldwin behind bars. The calls, summarized in the April documents, allegedly show that the 26-year-old armorer failed to take responsibility for her actions. Among the statements in the calls were Gutierrez-Reed calling Morrissey a “bitch,” referring to jury members as “a–holes,” being upset that blame was placed on her, and wanting Baldwin to be jailed.
