Ruby Franke’s Sister Breaks Silence Following YouTuber’s Prison Sentence
Ruby expressed her apologies to her ex-partner and their children, acknowledging her past actions. She admitted, “For the past four years, I’ve chosen to follow counsel and guidance that has led me into a dark delusion. My distorted version of reality went largely unchecked as I would isolate from anyone who challenged me.”
She further stated, “To my children, you are a part of me. I believed dark was light and right was wrong. I would do anything in this world for you. I took from you all that was soft, and safe, and good.”
Additionally, Ruby’s business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, was also sentenced to four to 60 years in prison on Feb. 20 after pleading guilty to four counts of child abuse.
Last August, Ruby, 42, and Jodi, 54, were both arrested following an incident where one of their children, aged 12, escaped from Jodi’s home, seeking help from a neighbor. The child was found emaciated with open wounds and duct tape on his ankles and wrists, as reported in an affidavit obtained by NBC News.
