Kevin Franke Describes his Wife Ruby’s Involvement in “Cult” Religion
During Jodi’s difficult time, Kevin and Ruby sought the help of a bishop who visited the counselor’s house every night for hours on end to battle “evil spirits” and “cast out demons.” When their efforts seemed fruitless, Jodi ended up moving in with the couple.
Kevin recounted how Jodi and Ruby began sharing a bed, leading to Ruby experiencing trances where she believed she was communicating with God and Jesus. They would sometimes isolate themselves in a room for hours, emerging with Ruby claiming to have received a divine vision and a mission from God.
Ultimately, Kevin reached a decision to “move on with life,” leading to him and Ruby undergoing an “in-home separation” before he initiated divorce proceedings in December. His lawyer mentioned that the pair had been living apart for over a year prior to Jodi’s arrest.
