Rory Feek is embarking on a new chapter in his life.
After the passing of his wife and musical partner Joey Feek from cervical cancer eight years ago, the “One Angel” singer announced that he has married his daughter Indiana‘s teacher and family friend, Rebecca.
The wedding took place on July 14 at a timber-frame pavilion in Greycliff, Montana, as detailed by Rory in a blog post about the special day. He shared that he and Rebecca had been in a relationship for some time, with their marriage being a result of Indiana’s suggestion.
Rory recalled, “We knew marriage could be a possibility, but it wasn’t something we could discuss seriously at that point. Indiana only saw Rebecca as ‘Miss Rebecca, her schoolteacher, and our friend’.”
Fortunately, Indiana proposed the idea to Rebecca in late March while they were spending time together on Rory’s farm.
