Real Housewives Star Karen Huger Faces DUI Charges Following Car Accident
Karen Huger is facing legal issues following a recent car accident.
The Real Housewives of Potomac celebrity was involved in a single car crash on the night of March 19 and has been charged with multiple offenses including driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, negligent driving endangering property, life, and person, and reckless driving in disregard for safety of persons and property, as per Maryland Judiciary records obtained by E! News.
According to the records, Huger also faces charges for failure to control vehicle speed, exceeding reasonable speed on a highway, driving with suspended registration, and failing to notify administration of a change of address within 30 days.
A spokesperson for the Montgomery County Police Department informed E! News that the car apparently crossed a median and hit street signs. Karen Huger, the driver, was arrested for driving under the influence and taken into custody before being released.
