Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao Attend Ratan Tata’s Funeral to Pay Respects; Dangal Actor Reflects on the Day
Industrialist Ratan Tata, a legend in the business world, passed away at the age of 86 after battling age-related ailments. Aamir Khan and his former wife Kiran Rao, along with other notable personalities, visited the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) lawns at Nariman Point to pay their respects to Tata, whose mortal remains were kept there. Aamir and Kiran expressed their grief and described the late industrialist as a ‘good man’.
On October 10, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao arrived to bid farewell to Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group. In a video circulating online, the ex-couple was seen showing their respect by folding their hands and bowing their heads in mourning for the loss of the prominent figure.
Before leaving, Aamir spoke to the media present outside. He expressed his sorrow, saying, “Today is a very sad day for all of us. The contribution Ratan ji has made to the entire country, the contribution his company Tata has made before him and under his leadership for the country is invaluable, priceless, and he was a very rare kind of person. We will all miss him dearly.”
Kiran Rao also reflected on the sad day, remembering Tata as a noble person. She said, “He was an amazing person, we have spent some time with him and he was a very good person, it is very sad that he has left us, but he has done a lot for our country.”
