Report: Harman Baweja will not be portraying the character of Vibhishan in the upcoming big-budget film led by Ranbir Kapoor, based on the Ramayana.
Harman Baweja was rumored to be joining Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana film, but in a recent interview, he revealed that he is focusing on his work as a producer and has not committed to any new acting assignments. This suggests that he may not be part of the project.
Harman Baweja made his acting debut in Love Story 2050 with Priyanka Chopra and has since gained attention for his acting and producing ventures. In a recent interview with PTI, he shared updates on his future projects.
Baweja’s last appearance was in the Netflix series Scoop, where he received praise for his performance as a dubious cop after a ten-year hiatus from acting. While he has been approached for acting roles, he is currently focused on expanding his production company, Baweja Studios.
Harman mentioned, “I’ve been approached for acting roles, but I haven’t signed anything after Scoop. I am mainly focused on production. I may film as an actor for only 10 to 15 days in the next few years.”
In a previous report, it was suggested that Harman Baweja could play Vibhishan in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, a trilogy starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. However, his recent statement has clarified the situation.
Harman revealed that he is concentrating on producing, distributing, and enjoying new projects, with minimal acting commitments in the coming years.
