Toast Pedro Pascal’s Boozy SAG Awards 2024 Acceptance Speech
Pedro Pascal should definitely receive another award for his speech.
During the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards, where he won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for his role in The Last of Us, he humorously admitted, “This is wrong for a number of reasons.”
“I’m a little drunk,” he confessed. “I thought I could get drunk.”
Despite his inebriation, he graciously thanked HBO and acknowledged his embarrassing moment, saying, “Oh, jeez, Louise. I’m making a fool of myself. But thank you so much for this!”
“I’ve been in the Union since 1999, so this is an incredible f–king honor,” Pedro added, taking advantage of the ceremony streaming on Netflix to use some colorful language. “To the nominees, all of you, I can’t remember any of your names right now.”
As he wrapped up his speech, the actor became emotional while thanking his family. “I’m gonna have a panic attack,” he said, “and I’m gonna leave.”
