Radhikka Madan addresses comparisons to Sridevi and shares parents’ priceless reactions to ‘Sarfira’

Radhikka Madan Reacts to Comparisons with Sridevi with Humility and Honor
In a recent interview with India Today, Radhikka Madan expressed her gratitude for all the love she has been receiving for Sarfira. She is being compared to the legendary late actress Sridevi for her outstanding performance in the film.
Addressing the comparisons, Radhikka shared, “It’s quite overwhelming. People have mentioned that I reminded them of Sridevi, which is a huge compliment for me. I do not think I can ever match up to her. I am taking it in a positive light and appreciating the gesture. It made my night, but I know I can never replace her.”
Discussing the pressures and expectations that accompany success, she mentioned that she does not dwell on failures and tries to maintain a balanced outlook.
Radhikka Madan on Her Parents’ Response to Sarfira
Speaking about her parents’ reaction to the film, Madan mentioned that they attended the first screening and were moved to tears. She also noted that her parents feel immensely proud every time they see her work.
“From my first appearance on television to movies, they have always been supportive. They may try to be critical at times, but their love for me cannot be hidden,” she shared.
On the other hand, Radhikka shared that her brother is her toughest critic, providing realistic feedback. “He is very honest and gives me a reality check. He truly enjoyed Sarfira,” she added.
Meanwhile, Sarfira was directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad and features Akshay Kumar. The film was released on July 12 and also stars Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas, and others.
