Rachel Lindsay Opens Up About Feeling Uncomfortable with Bryan Abasolo’s Proposal
She expressed, “You have this ring on your finger, and there’s this man, and for the first time you ride in the car together, you’re going to the same hotel room together. It’s like, this is the beginning of your new life.”
However, Rachel ensured that the two didn’t rush into marriage, insisting that they first live together and date. They did so for two years before getting married in August 2019.
“It was a great decision,” she remarked. “I realized that we have a lot in common. We work well together, and I’m excited for the future.”
Even though their relationship eventually came to an end, Rachel is thankful for the over six years she spent with Bryan, 44.
“I learned so much,” she shared. “I had new experiences and learned how to live with someone, working in a partnership in a way I hadn’t before.”
Rachel and Bryan announced their separation in January. Bryan posted on Instagram at that time, explaining that they had made the “difficult decision” to go their separate ways and start afresh.
