Details of Bling Ring Robberies Shared by Rachel Bilson and Audrina Patridge
Even though the 42-year-old victim lost clothes, shoes, bags, and her mother’s engagement ring in the robberies, what affected her the most was a detail revealed by one of the thieves, Rachel, in an interview after their arrest. She mentioned, “Rachel who gave the interview—was like, ‘I got so comfortable, I pooped in her bathroom.’ I was like, ‘That’s almost the most offensive part.'”
The Bling Ring members stole a total of $3 million from celebrity homes, including those of Patridge, Bilson, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton. The young members, aged between 18 and 19 at the time of their arrests, received varying jail sentences for their crimes.
Neiers, who served 180 days in a county jail and three years of probation, later appeared as a guest on Bilson’s podcast in 2022 alongside her sister, Gabby Neiers. During the podcast, Bilson shared her feelings about the burglaries, expressing her forgiveness towards the perpetrators. “I’m old enough and grown past it enough, you were a kid. Like, you want to talk about it—fine. I’m not gonna be like, ‘Oh, it’s cool whatever,’ but I wasn’t going to give them a hard time either. It was kind of just like, ‘Sure, say your piece. That’s fine,'” Bilson stated on Feb. 26. “You were kids but it was so f–ked up. There’s no way around that.”
