Princess Eugenie Thanks Mother Sarah Ferguson for Detecting Her Scoliosis Early
Princess Eugenie is full of appreciation for her mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, for support during her battle with Scoliosis. In a post on June 29, the princess expressed gratitude on her Instagram account for her mother detecting her scoliosis early.
The post included a throwback picture of Princess Eugenie and Sarah Ferguson from when the princess was a toddler. Scoliosis is known to be caused by irregular spinal curves, as per Mayo Clinic reports.

On her Instagram, Eugenie shared a picture of her baby self and her mother, Sarah Ferguson, getting out of a vehicle. The princess wore a green top and checkered skirt while the Duchess of York was in a blue sweater and skirt. Eugenie’s caption under the picture highlighted her gratitude for her mother catching her scoliosis early and the confidence she instilled in her to embrace her scar.
Eugenie also tagged an organization working for those with scoliosis in her post, with a heartwarming comment from Ferguson herself.

Sarah Ferhuson’s cancer diagnosis
Earlier in the year, Sarah Ferguson revealed her skin cancer diagnosis, following her battle with breast cancer. Reports indicated she would undergo Mastectomy surgery due to the unusual growth of moles on her body. Other royals like the king and Kate Middleton also shared their experiences with cancer treatment.
