Prince William Attends Royal Ascot With Kate Middleton’s Parents Amid Her Cancer Treatments
Princess Anne is on the road to recovery after a recent incident.
The younger sister of King Charles III suffered minor injuries at her estate Gatcombe Park, as confirmed by Buckingham Palace.
“Her Royal Highness is currently in Southmead Hospital, Bristol, for observation and is expected to recover fully and quickly,” a statement released on June 24 announced. “The King has been kept informed and the entire Royal Family sends their love and well-wishes to The Princess for a speedy recovery.”
The specific cause of the 73-year-old’s injuries and concussion is still unknown. According to Sky News, Anne’s doctors have advised her to postpone her royal duties this week, including a planned trip to Canada. Additionally, she will not be able to attend the banquet on June 25 in honor of Japanese Emperor Naruhito during his visit to the UK.
This incident occurred shortly after Princess Anne participated in the Trooping the Colour ceremony on horseback with Prince William and Prince Edward. She had also taken part in other royal events, such as her brother’s coronation in May 2023.
