Model Iskra Lawrence, who is pregnant, responds to body-shamers
Iskra Lawrence is not letting the haters get to her.
The model, who is pregnant with her second child with partner Philip Payne, responded to online trolls who body-shamed her for participating in a Miami Swim Week fashion show while pregnant.
“Imagine criticizing a stranger’s body on the internet…” Iskra wrote on Instagram on June 5. She shared photos of herself proudly showing off her baby bump at the Cupshe presentation, along with the negative comments she received, “That’s 6 months pregnant walking in Miami Swim week more proud of her body than ever after TTC.”
Despite the hurtful remarks, the model, who is also a mother to 4-year-old Alpha, pointed out that she only found two kind comments among the hundreds of mean ones.
“I want to express my gratitude to these trolls for being so fixated on me that they made commenting on my pregnant body their main focus,” she remarked. “It’s truly impressive that you have nothing better to do. What a surprise.”
