‘Lucas Bravo Finds Relief in Emily In Paris Season 4 As Pregnancy Disruption Subsides’
Lucas Bravo is relieved that a major plot point from Emily in Paris season 4 is finally resolved. He portrays Gabriel, an aspiring chef who Emily has been in love with since season 1.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Bravo expressed his relief upon learning that his character’s ex-fiance, Camile (Camile Razat), was not pregnant with his child after all.
Bravo explains, “I felt like that pregnancy could have brought more chaos and drama, creating a new obstacle. This was sad because a baby should never be viewed as such.” He elaborates on how the pregnancy closed the door to many possibilities.
Touching on the storyline developments, Lucas shares, “Since Gabriel has been in love with Emily from the start, I felt like the pregnancy was hindering that. So, there was some relief, but it won’t feel that way.”
By the end of Season 3, in Champagne, France, Camille calls off the wedding, revealing that Gabriel has been in love with Emily all along. Alfie, feeling like Emily’s second choice, leaves her at the wedding. Camille also discloses that she is pregnant with Gabriel’s child, kept secret until the event.
In season 4 episode 5, Camile discovers she was never pregnant during a visit to her gynecologist. She confides in a friend at a cafe, expressing her unease about informing Gabriel of the news that will affect their relationship.
Emily in Paris Season 4 Part One can be streamed on Netflix, with Part 2 set to premiere on September 12.
