Porsha Williams Grieves Loss of Cousin and Co-star Yolanda Favors
Porsha Williams is facing a heartbreaking loss.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently revealed that her cousin, Yolanda “Londie” Favors—who appeared in Porsha’s RHOA spin-off Family Matters—passed away on Aug. 7 at the age of 34.
“Londie—you were our best friend, our sister, our aunt, our cousin, and so much more,” Porsha shared in an Instagram post on Aug. 12. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, and you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.”
The 43-year-old expressed how her cousin’s legacy will endure. “The impact and value you provided all of us during your time here was tremendous,” Porsha continued. “But we know that your spirit will always be with us every day guiding us through this difficult time and what’s still to come. For that, we’re eternally grateful.”
Porsha’s heartfelt tribute to Londie concluded with a quote from author E.A. Buccianeri’s book Brushstrokes of a Gadfly, “So it’s true, when all is said and done, grief is the price we pay for love.”
