Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond Denies Using Ozempic

Ree Drummond, the Pioneer Woman, Refutes Allegations of Using Ozempic

Ozempic is no laughing matter for the comedian. Handler shared that her “anti-aging doctor” prescribed her the medication without fully understanding what it was.

“I didn’t even know I was on it,” she mentioned during the Jan. 25, 2023 episode of Call Her Daddy. “She said, ‘If you ever want to drop five pounds, this is good.'”

Despite trying the drug, Handler admitted that she didn’t enjoy the way it made her feel.

“I came back from a vacation and administered it to myself,” she recounted. “I went to lunch with a friend a few days later, and she mentioned feeling nauseous, being on Ozempic. I realized I was feeling the same way, but I attributed it to jet lag after returning from Spain.”

In the end, Handler decided to discontinue the drug since it wasn’t necessary for her health. She gave away the remaining doses to friends.

“I’ve personally injected about four or five of my friends with Ozempic because I didn’t want to continue using it as I found it unnecessary,” she explained. “It’s meant for individuals struggling with weight. I would have friends coming over, and I’d schedule appointments for them like, ‘I can see you at 1, I can see you at 2.'”
