Actor Durgesh Kumar, known for his role in the 2014 film Highway alongside Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, has established himself in the entertainment industry. His portrayal of Bhushan Kumar aka Banrakas in the web series Panchayat was well-received by the audience.
After years of struggle in Mumbai, Durgesh Kumar has finally purchased his first apartment in the city.
Durgesh Kumar gives a glimpse of his new apartment
On July 31, Durgesh Kumar took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his followers. He posted a picture of the keys to his new apartment.
“Aapna Ghar….. Mumbai main thanks (sic),” read a part of his caption.

Fans congratulate Bhushan Kumar from Panchayat
Congratulations poured in on Durgesh Kumar’s latest Instagram update. Many fans reacted to his post and congratulated the actor.
“Congratulations sir, I hope you achieve many more and keep entertaining us,” one fan wrote. Another Instagram user commented, “Bht bht Mubarak.”
“Sir ka Phulera ka ghar,” reads a comment. An Instagram user joked, “Dekh rha hh Vinod bhaiya ji khud ka ghar le liye Mumbai mein Congratulations.”

Durgesh Kumar’s original role offer in Panchayat
In a previous interview with Digital Commentary, Durgesh Kumar mentioned that he initially auditioned for a photographer role in the TVF series Panchayat.
Eventually, Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish played the photographer role, and Durgesh portrayed Bhushan Kumar (Banrakas) in the series.
During the first season of Panchayat, Durgesh Kumar received Rs. 10,000 as remuneration, which included flights, food, and accommodation provided by the makers.

Panchayat features Jitendra Kumar in the lead role, with Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles. Chandan Roy and Faisal Malik also play supporting characters.
The third season of the series was released on Amazon Prime Video and has been available for streaming since May 2024.
Durgesh Kumar has also appeared in films like Sultan, Freaky Ali, Bahen Hogi Teri, Laapataa Ladies, and Bhakshak.
