Josh Hartnett of Oppenheimer Speaks at SAG Awards in Rare Interview
Josh Hartnett recently shared why it was a dream come true to work with Robert Downey Jr.
Josh Hartnett expressed his gratitude.
During the 2024 SAG Awards on Feb. 24, the Pearl Harbor star, who had taken a break from the spotlight in the mid-aughts, made a return to Hollywood, marking his first public appearance in the United States in over six years. (Check out every star on the red carpet here.)
While his attendance turned heads, the Oppenheimer actor focused on his castmates, such as Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, and director Christopher Nolan.
“Being in the film with these other actors and having Chris choose me for this role was a huge achievement,” Josh exclusively told Live From E!: SAG Awards host Laverne Cox. “We had a great time making the film, and the overwhelming positive reception it received, along with the nominations in acting categories from our peers, has been fantastic.”
So why did Josh decide to return to the spotlight for the SAG Awards? Well, Josh, who also attended the U.K. BAFTAs on Feb. 18, is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture category along with his fellow cast members.
