Olivia Munn Provides Update on Health During Battle with Breast Cancer
Olivia Munn is documenting her breast cancer journey for fans to see.
The 44-year-old recently provided an update for fans who have been asking about the timeline of her diagnosis, treatments, and current status.
The actress from Newsroom, who revealed her diagnosis in March, shared this information to reassure others going through health challenges, saying, “I’ve been through it too, and I’m holding up.”
In the timeline she shared, Munn mentioned that she had over a year of clear tests before being diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer in April 2023.
Following her diagnosis, Munn underwent various procedures such as a double mastectomy, breast reconstruction, and a partial hysterectomy and oophorectomy.
“A week after the procedures, I cried when I saw my breasts for the first time,” she revealed in a previous interview on the SheMD podcast. “Alone in my bathroom, I looked at them and cried like never before. I was devastated. I didn’t recognize myself.”
