Nina Dobrev Provides an Update Following her Surgery
Nina Dobrev‘s latest health update is actually pretty good news.
The Vampire Diaries actress revealed that she is recovering well after having leg surgery due to a bike accident in May. The incident resulted in her being hospitalized with a neck brace and a knee brace.
“Surgery was a success,” Nina shared on Instagram June 5. “Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes.”
She also expressed her gratitude for the support and positive energy she has received, saying, “It means more than you will ever know.”
In addition to updating her fans on her recovery, the 35-year-old actress shared her feelings leading up to the surgery. In a June 5 Instagram Story, she admitted, “Anyone else get scared before surgery? I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood or procedures of any kind.”
Despite her nerves, Nina maintained a positive outlook, even making a joke about her left leg looking “pristine” before it got scarred up from the surgery.
