Actress Nicola Peltz Beckham files lawsuit against groomer for the death of her dog
Nicola Peltz Beckham is pursuing legal action against a dog groomer following the tragic passing of her chihuahua Nala.
After announcing the loss of their beloved pet at 8 years old, Nicola and her husband Brooklyn Peltz Beckham filed a lawsuit against Houndspa LLC, a mobile dog grooming service in New York. The lawsuit names owner Deborah Gittleman and groomer Jony Ceballos as responsible for Nala’s death in June.
As per the filing dated July 30, it is alleged that during Nala’s grooming session, Ceballos not only neglected her care but also mistreated and possibly abused her, showing no regard for her well-being.
Attempts to reach out to HoundSpa, Gittleman, and Ceballos for their side of the story have been unsuccessful.
The lawsuit details that HoundSpa was tasked with grooming five of Nicola’s dogs at her home in Westchester County, including Nala, the 2-pound chihuahua who was scheduled for a bath, nail trim, and teeth and ear cleaning.
