Nicki Minaj Gets Emotional in Video About Her “Precious Baby Boy”
Nicki Minaj is reminiscing about a significant moment in her life.
The rapper opened up about motherhood and the experience of childbirth in a recent video, where she appeared to recall the day she and her husband Kenneth Petty welcomed their 3-year-old son, affectionately nicknamed Papa Bear.
“One day, they’re yelling ‘push’ and you’re in pain,” Nicki, wearing heavy eye makeup and a pink satin bonnet, whispered in a clip posted on her Instagram Story. “Then one day, he comes out a beautiful baby boy. To God be the glory.”
Although the 41-year-old, currently touring in Europe, did not specify the inspiration behind sharing the video, she did offer a heartfelt message for “every mama out there.”
“You’re doing a great job,” Nicki reassured. “In case no one’s told you that, you’re doing a great job.”
The 45-second clip, which is no longer available on her Instagram Story, followed a cryptic tweet from the “Starships” artist on June 10. Nicki simply shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, “Yes, Single…”
