Niall Horan’s Brother Expresses Heartbreak Over Liam Payne’s Passing
“I am completely heartbroken by the loss of my incredible friend, Liam,” expressed Niall in a heartfelt Instagram post. “It still doesn’t seem real. Liam had a zest for life and a dedication to his work that was truly contagious. He lit up every room and always made everyone feel joyful and safe.”
The singer behind “Slow Hands” went on to reflect on the memories of performing alongside Liam in One Direction.
“I can’t help but think of all the laughter we shared over the years, even about the simplest things,” Niall continued. “We lived out our wildest dreams together and I will forever treasure every moment we had. The bond and friendship we shared is a rarity in life.”
Niall, who recently had Liam and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy as special guests at his concert in Buenos Aires, also shared his last encounter with his friend.
“I am grateful that I had the chance to see him not long ago,” Niall expressed. “Little did I know that after saying goodbye and embracing him that night, it would be our final farewell. It’s truly devastating. My thoughts and love go out to Geoff, Karen, Ruth, Nicola, and his son Bear. Thank you for everything, Payno. Love you, brother.”
