Niall Horan shares emotional tribute to Liam Payne, reminiscing on their final moments together
“I am completely heartbroken by the loss of my dear friend, Liam,” Niall expressed in a heartfelt Instagram post. “It still feels so unreal. Liam had a zest for life and a dedication to his work that was truly inspiring. He radiated positivity and made everyone feel joyful and supported.”
The singer of “Slow Hands” fondly remembered his time performing alongside Liam in One Direction.
“I can’t help but recall all the laughter we shared over the years, even at the simplest of things,” Niall reminisced. “We were able to fulfill our wildest dreams together, and I will treasure every memory we created. The bond and friendship we shared was truly special.”
Niall, who recently had Liam and his partner Kate Cassidy as attendees at his concert in Buenos Aires, also described the bittersweet moment of their last meeting.
“I am grateful that I had the chance to see him not too long ago,” Niall reflected. “Little did I know that our goodbye that evening would be our final farewell. It breaks my heart. My deepest sympathies and love go out to Geoff, Karen, Ruth, Nicola, and especially his son Bear. Thank you for everything, Payno. I will always love you, brother.”
