Sonakshi Sinha recently got married to Zaheer Iqbal after dating for seven years. The couple officially registered their marriage on June 23, 2024, in a civil ceremony. In a recent interview with Zoom, they were asked about their plans to have children, to which they gave a typical newlywed response.
When asked about kids, Sonakshi joked, “Our parents didn’t even ask us this question.” Zaheer added, “We are just enjoying being married for now. We both love kids, so when the time comes, it will be all about the child. But for now, we’re enjoying each other’s company.”
After Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, was hospitalized right after the wedding, there were rumors about Sonakshi being pregnant. She brushed off these speculations and joked about not being able to go to the hospital after marriage.
Sonakshi also shared a heartfelt note along with her official wedding pictures, reflecting on their love story and journey to marriage. She expressed gratitude for their families and gods, looking forward to a future filled with love and hope.
On the professional front, Sonakshi was recently seen in Zee 5’s Kakuda and is set to appear in the sequel of her successful Netflix series Heeramandi.
