Ali Fazal, a new father, lands starring role alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Raj & DK’s fantasy drama Rakht Brahmand
Ali Fazal is currently experiencing a wonderful phase in his personal and professional life. He recently became a father to a daughter with his wife Richa Chadha. Additionally, he delighted fans by reprising his role as Guddu Pandit in Mirzapur Season 3. Now, it has been announced that Ali Fazal will be the lead actor in Rakht Brahmand opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

Following the success of Mirzapur Season 3, Ali Fazal is set to star in the upcoming period fantasy thriller, Rakht Brahmand, directed by Raj&DK and Rahi Anil Barve. The entire cast has been finalized and they will begin shooting for the limited series next week in Mumbai.
“Ali will be shooting for the series throughout August while managing other projects. The show’s vision excited Ali to be a part of it, as it is a new and interesting role for him both in terms of character and genre,” a source revealed.
Notably, the show’s cast also includes Aditya Roy Kapur and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.
The visionary director duo Raj&DK are known for their acclaimed work in shows like The Family Man, Guns & Gulaabs, and Farzi.

On the work front, Ali Fazal has a lineup of exciting projects, including Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino, set to release on November 29, 2024. He is also part of Lahore 1947, backed by Aamir Khan, and Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life, alongside a talented ensemble cast.
