Reaction of internet users to Devara makers including the Daavudi song in Jr NTR’s film, along with a new scene
One week after its release, the makers of Jr NTR starrer Devara have decided to add the song Daavudi to the film. The song, initially excluded in the release, has now been officially confirmed by the makers through a post on X (formerly Twitter).
The makers’ post also included the caption, “To all the fans who have been waiting to get into the KILI KILIYE mood.” With the much-awaited song added to the film, a new scene leading to the track has also been included. Following the additional footage shown in theaters, netizens have taken to social media to share their reactions.

The song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander, was sung by Nakash Aziz and Akasa, with Telugu lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry. The song had garnered praise prior to the film’s release due to the fast-paced dance moves by Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor.
The film Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva, follows an action drama tale of the titular character. Known for grand smuggling over the seas, he gets caught in a kerfuffle with his partners over the goods he had been acquiring for others.
This leads him to face his foes and eventually become an urban legend feared by everyone around him. The film also delves into the life of his son, played by Jr NTR, who is in complete contrast to his father and his tales.
Aside from Jr NTR, the movie also features actors like Janhvi Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, Narain, Kalaiyarasan, and more in key roles. The film was released on September 27, 2024, and is set to have a sequel in the future.
