Many of us have grown up watching the iconic trio of Bollywood, known as the three Khans. We are referring to Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan who have been dominating the Hindi cinema industry for decades. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of the actors who has had the privilege of working with all three superstars in their respective movies. Nawazuddin recently shared that his parents were pleased when he worked with Salman in Kick, as they didn’t have much belief in him.

During a recent podcast on The Majlis Show, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was asked if his parents initially doubted his success in acting unless he collaborated with the Khans. The Kick actor mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan are huge stars, and there is a common belief that working with them leads to success. However, his parents didn’t share the same sentiment.

“Their belief was that I should stand on my own feet and start doing something on my own. They didn’t have much faith in me. But they felt good when they saw Kick,” Nawazuddin said.

Earlier this year, in an exclusive house tour video with Pinkvilla, Nawazuddin Siddiqui talked about his early struggling days. Despite facing hardships, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor mentioned that he holds no complaints about life. He also shared that he enjoyed the struggling phase of his life as he was surrounded by like-minded individuals.

The actor also worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Rahul Dholakia’s 2017 film, Raees, and teamed up with Salman Khan in Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Speaking of Kick, the Sajid Nadiadwala directorial also featured Jacqueline Fernandez and Randeep Hooda. The makers recently announced the sequel, Kick 2, to the 2014 film.
