After 11 Years of Marriage, Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied Announce Divorce
Back in 2012, the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Big Sur, California, as revealed by a source to E! News. “The weekend was a beautiful secret,” shared the insider, “and everyone enjoyed themselves because of the relaxed atmosphere.”
Throughout the years, they mostly kept their love story away from the public eye. However, in 2016, Millepied gave some insight into how they manage their professional and personal lives.
“As a couple, we naturally learn from each other and support each other in positive ways,” he told Vanity Fair. “But when it comes to work, we maintain separate spaces. I believe that’s crucial.” The next year, they welcomed their second child.
Skipping to 2022, Portman shared a rare glimpse into their relationship as they celebrated their 10-year marriage milestone. “Ten years today @benjaminmillepied,” she posted in August, “and it only gets better with time.”
