About Munjya

In the year 1952, a boy is denied permission to marry Munni, a girl 7 years older than him. The boy’s head is shaved forcefully, and Munni is married off to someone else. That night, the boy performs dark magic under a peepal tree with his sister and dies in the process. He turns into a monster named Munjya, haunting his own family members in search of Munni.

In present day, Bittu (Abhay Verma) works in a salon with his mother (Mona Singh) and has recurring nightmares. He loves Bella (Sharvari Wagh) but struggles to express his feelings as she sees him only as a friend and is in a relationship with someone else.
