18-Year-Old Model Kelvi McCray Fatally Shot by Ex-Boyfriend During FaceTime Call
Kelvi McCray tragically lost her life in a terrible incident.
The 18-year-old model was fatally shot on March 6 by her ex-boyfriend Keisean Shaw, 19, who then took his own life, according to West Palm Beach police as reported by NBC6.
“The victim was sitting, eating dinner and FaceTiming with three friends when Shaw entered and shot her,” said West Palm Beach spokesman Mike Jachles. “One of the three friends on FaceTime was a witness for us and provided quick identification.”
As per a police report cited by NBC’s WPTV, both a neighbor and McCray’s mother called 911. The mother told the dispatcher, “Her boyfriend came in and shot her, my baby is dead.”
When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered McCray with multiple gunshot wounds to her head, back, and neck. Shaw was found with a gunshot wound to his head leaning against a wall in the living room.
McCray and Shaw were taken to a nearby hospital, where McCray passed away later that night. Shaw succumbed to his injuries the following day.
