3-Year-Old Son of MLB Player Freddie Freeman Struggles to Stand or Walk Due to Infection
MLB’s Freddie Freeman and his family are currently going through a tough situation.
The Dodgers’ first baseman and his wife Chelsea Freeman revealed that their 3-year-old son Maximus was taken to the emergency room due to severe pain that made it hard for him to sit or stand.
“Please keep Maximus in your prayers,” Chelsea wrote on her Instagram Story on July 24, as reported by Us Weekly. “The doctor says he developed transient synovitis from the viral infection he had during All-Star Week. It’s been 3 days and he can’t sit, stand, or walk.”
Transient synovitis is a temporary inflammation of the hip that can cause limping and pain in the hip and leg, according to Kids Health.
Chelsea, 33, also asked her followers for tips on how to help toddlers take and keep down medicine.
“He usually does well with taking medicine,” she mentioned about Maximus, “but he keeps spitting it out.”
