“He placed the ring on my hand, but as I tried to show him, the ring slipped off my finger and fell rapidly like in a movie,” Millie recounted. “Jake dove deep, ignoring warnings about his ears, to save the ring with a cinematic grab.”
For the 20-year-old, the imperfect proposal reflects their three-year relationship.
“It truly represents who he is,” she affirmed. “I believe we will always support each other and step in when needed.”
