Mike Tyson Provides Health Update Following Medical Emergency
Mike Tyson is gearing up for another bout in the ring.
Just two days after experiencing a medical emergency on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles on May 26, the boxing legend is assuring fans that he is recovering well.
“Now feeling 100%,” he wrote on X, formerly Twitter, on May 28, “even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”
On the May 26 flight, Tyson encountered symptoms of nausea and dizziness “due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing,” as confirmed by his representative to Page Six.
“He is grateful for the medical staff who assisted him,” the representative added, mentioning that Tyson is now “doing great.”
Tyson’s health scare occurred just under two months before his upcoming match with Paul, scheduled to be streamed live on Netflix on July 20. He is eager to face the former YouTuber in the main event.
