Melanie Wilking Provides Status Update on Relationship with Miranda Derrick
After Dean, Kelly and Melanie went viral expressing their concerns about Miranda and Shekinah, the situation exploded on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Some viewers noted that Miranda seemed to be living her best life, suggesting that the issue might actually lie with her family. However, a majority of social media users, including some claiming first-hand knowledge of Shekinah, agreed that the church had cult-like characteristics.
The dancers featured in the series did not provide specific details about their experiences, but mentioned that the response to the Wilking family’s video prompted them to sever ties with Robert, Shekinah, and 7M.
“That was the first time we heard about the treatment at Shekinah,” Kylie said. “I realized I was in an unsafe environment.”
Kevin added, “We noticed some odd things.”
Aubrey recalled Robert’s change in behavior after the Wilking video, instructing the dancers to reconnect with their families and share it on social media.
Reflecting on the mass departure from Shekinah in 2022, Kailea stated in the series, “There’s no way all these close people are leaving for no reason. There must be truth to the other things happening. Everyone can’t be lying.”
